The Cast of the Showtime Comedy " SMILF "  Frankie Shaw, Rosie O'Donnell & Connie Britton,  Attend as Panelists " For Your Consideration " at The Whitney Museum in New York City !

NEW YORK(SMI-WIRE,05.08.18)-The main cast of the Showtime Comedy series " SMILF", gathered together this evening to attend and to be part of the panel of " For Your Consideration" event; from executive producer, director and lead actress Frankie Shaw, Connie Britton & Rosie O'Donnell at the Whitney Museum in Manhattan.

The new half-hour SHOWTIME comedy series SMILF is a raw, honest look at the life of a 20-something single mom from quadruple threat Frankie Shaw (Mr. Robot). The series, based on Shaw’s Sundance Film Festival Jury Award-winning short film of the same name, takes a comedic look at the life of Bridgette Bird (Shaw), a young Boston Southie whose desires for relationships, sex, and a career collide with the realities of working class single motherhood. Shaw brings her singular, unapologetic point of view as star, writer, executive producer and director of the semi-autobiographical comedy series.

The cast includes multiple Emmy winner Rosie O’Donnell in her first series regular TV role as Bridgette’s prideful, outspoken Southie mother (Lulu), along with Miguel Gomez, Samara Weaving, and Alexandra and Anna Reimer. Guest stars include Connie Britton (Plays Ally), Mark Webber and Raven Goodwin. Executive producing alongside Shaw are Oscar® nominee Michael London, Lee Eisenberg and Scott King. SMILF is produced by ABC Signature Studios as a co-production with SHOWTIME.
