PISCATAWAY, NJ(SMI-GLOBAL-WOMEN-SPORTS-UNIVERSITY- 03.07-08. 2025)-The Rutger's women Gymnastic team won its final season home Quad-Meet on Senior Day, finishing first with the score 195.725, and honored its 2025 senior Athletes after the meet with a presentation ceremony for their contributions to the athletic program during the last 4-years at Jersey Mike's Arena.
The Skarlet Knights with the Quad-meet victory improves to 15-9, defeating Temple (2nd Place 194.450), Cornell (3rd Place, 193.075), & Southern Connecticut State (4th place 191.800), and registering the most wins in a season since 2014, with one meet left in the regular season Next Sunday March 16, against University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H.
The Rutgers Women's Gymnastics squad who made the 2024 NCAA Regionals last season, competes in the BIG-10, conference alongside UCLA, Minnesota, Michigan State, Michigan, Iowa, Penn State, Maryland, Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio State, Maryland, Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio State, and Washington University.
The Scarlet Knights dominated the Unevenbars registering its fifth highest score in program history, and season high of 49.175, led by Delaney Adrian with her first career high of 9.9, (First out 24), Avery Balser ( 2nd place 9.8750), Donna Uhlenberg (9.800), Keeley Smith (9.775), and Reagan Schenkel (9.825).
In the Vault, Cornell's Sydney Beers (9.8500) and Temple's Amelia Budd (9.8500) shared the first place with the same score while Rutgers' Elia Aird (9.800), took 3rd place and Gabrielle Dildy(9.7750) & Rachael Riley (9.7750) shared fourth place.
In the Beam competition, Delaney Adrian finished first with the score (9.8500) for Rutgers, Robyn Dunn for Temple with (9.8250) for 2nd place, and Rachel Riley (Rutgers, 9.800) and Renee Schugman(Temple, 9.8000) shared third place with the same score.
Temple took first and second place on the Floor competition with Brooke Donabedian registering 9.9250, and Renee Schugman 9.8750 while Elliot Goldsmith(Rutgers) and Krystin Johnson( Temple) both scored 9.8500, to share third place out 24.
Rutgers honored the following seniors Gymnasts Elia Aird, Avery Balser, Maya Jones, Emily Leese, Jacqueline Manifold, Gianna Ortiz and Anna Pagliario after the meet.
