TOP-RANKED #1, LSU WINS 2025 PENN STATE NCAA WOMEN GYMNASTIC REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA(SMI-GLOBAL-WOMEN-SPORTS-UNIVERSITY-04-02-04-08, 2025)-The Top-ranked and 2024 defending champions " LSU Women's Gymnastic team " advance to the
Elite-8, and with a chance to repeat and defend its national title after winning the 2025 NCAA Penn State Regional with the score 198.050, and outscoring Michigan State with a barely .050 point difference who finished runner-up and both team advancing to the Elite-8, during a Saturday's evening April 05, Quad-Meet at Rec Hall, Penn State University.

After winning the Penn State Regional Semifinals (Session I, 198.100) and Finals(Session II, 198.050), The Tigers recorded its 15th Regional championship crown, third straight Championship appearance, and 34th NCAA overall in program history.

It was a very competitive Quad-Meet from start to finish with all fighting ferociously for the first two spots and advance to the NCAA championship.

Vault Rotation Competition:
Michigan State won the Vault Competition with the Spartans claiming the first two spots in the standings with Nicky Smith and Sage Kellerman scoring 9.9500 while team-mate Makaya Tucker and Olivia Zsarmani taking 2nd place with 9.9250, to claimed the Vault title with 49.6500.
Amary Drayton, Haleigh Bryant and KJ Johnson from LSU shared third place with Ja'Leigh Lang(Arkansas) and Cecily Rizo (Kentucky) with all scoring 9.9000 and LSU team total of 49.3500. 
Bars/Uneven Bars Rotation Competition:
In the Uneven Bars, Spartan's Nikki Smith claimed first place with 9.9750 and Mara Jones(Arkansas) and Gabriell Stephens (Michigan State) shared 2nd with 9.9500 for the Spartas claimed the Bars competition with 49.5750.
Lexi Zeiss (LSU), Joscelyn Roberson (Arkansas) and Sage Kellerman (Michigan State) took third place with 9.9250. 

Beam Rotation Competition:
Aleah Finnegan, and Kaitlin Chio from LSU shared first place with
Joscelyn Roberson (Arkansas) & Sharon Lee ( Kentucky) with the score 9.9500 and The Tigers winning the rotation with the overall score of 49.6750.

Floor Rotation Competition:
Aleah Finnegan( LSU ) won the Floor rotation registering 9.9750 and team-mate Amari Drayton (LSU) took third place with 9.9250. 
Joycelyn Roberson (Arkansas), Maddie Jones(Arkansas), Creslyn Brose (Kentucky) and Skyla Schulte(Michigan State) scored 9.9500 to share 2nd place and LSU winning the rotation with 49.5750 team score.

The 8-Teams qualifying to the championships are :LSU and Michigan State from Penn State Regional, UCLA and Utah from the Salt lake City Regional, Oklahoma and Missouri from the Seattle Regional, and Floria and Alabama from the Alabama Regional advanced to the NCAA Elite-8, and will compete in the 2025 NCAA Women's Gymnastic championship to take place on April 17-19, at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

The top two teams from each semifinal session on April 17, will advance to the final four and compete for the national title on Saturday April 19, 2025.
