NEW YORK, NY (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT FEB.26-28, 2025)-Golden-Globe Award-winning actress " Kate Hudson" was in the Big Apple this evening to attend the special screening and discussion of her upcoming Netflix's Running Point comedy series with cast at Paley Museum in NYC.

The Special two-episode screening, and discussion was part of the 2025 PaleyLive scheduled event entitled; Kate Hudson & cast of Netflix's Running Point: Exclusive Screening and Discussion that is Co-Executive produced by Kate Hudson and Mindy Kaling, and was moderated by the Editor -In-Chief of Glamour magazine Samantha Barry.

" Almost Famous " where she won a Golden Globe award for best supporting actress in a motion picture, and Academy award nomination for the same category plays " Isla Gordon" in the 10-episode comedy series, walked the red carpet alongside the cast; Drew Tarver, Jay Ellis, Justin Theroux, and Scott MacArthur at the exclusive screening that premiered on Netflix Globally Thursday Feb 27, 2025.

The plot is about Isla Gordon played by Kate Hudson who takes the helm of her family business, a historic basketball sport franchise and she redefined the rules of the game both on and off the court.

When a scandal forces her brother to resign, Isla Gordon is appointed president of the Los Angeles Waves, one of the most storied professional basketball franchises, and her family business. Ambitious and often overlooked, Isla will have to prove to her skeptical brothers, the board, and the larger sports community that she was the right choice for the job. From the hitmaking team of Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen, Running Point puts a bold twist on the underdog comedy.
