MIAMI BEACH (SMI-WIRE,07.16-07.19.15)FRANKIE'S BIKINIS debuted its Resort 2016 collection at Miami Swim Week at the W Hotel WET Deck in Miami on Saturday, July 18, 2015 to a jam-packed crowd of leading editors, international buyers and celebrity fans including Brody Jenner, Kaitlynn Carter, Chantel Jeffries, Joy Corrigan, Miesa and superstar bloggers Jenah Yamamoto, Annie Lawless and Kelsey White.

The youngest designer to ever show at Miami Swim Week, 20-year-old beauty Francesca Aiello presented the “8 Days a Week” collection, infusing the lush island of Kauai with the breezy Malibu shore.

A rousing drum line invigorated the crowd as models traipsed through a massive teepee archway and onto the floating runway. The new resort wear collection was unveiled with tropical tribal patterns and a Hawaiian hibiscus  print that bloomed across off-the-shoulder rompers, maxi dresses, sarongs, tunics, palazzo pants and peasant blouses that coordinated perfectly with the swimwear. 

The 8 Days a Week Collection was crafted for the sexy surfer with an athletic aesthetic that left its mark on high-neck halters, cheeky silhouettes and signature crochet detailing. With unexpected cutouts and daring necklines, Frankie's Bikinis elevated the one-piece to new heights that can travel from the longboard to lunch.

Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic of Makeup By Mario created a smokey golden look with luminescent strobing across the cheeks using BeautyBlender and Benefit Cosmetics. Models had effortlessly chic tresses and top knots with bohemian snake braids to complete the carefree look.

 

Starlight Media Illustrated had the opportunity to interview Francesca Aiello after 

her spectacular fashion show and this is what she said:

Starlight Media:Please; can you tell us  what's the name of  your latest collection and What can you tell us about it ?

 

Francesca Aiello : "8 days a week" and It can speak by itself comparing to other shows,

I think it's kind a tropical, beachy and bohemian.

 

Starlight Media:There were some some tropical/caribbean musicians in the background, Does this contributed to your inspiration for your latest collection " 8 days a week" ?

 

Francesca Aiello:Absolutely , I want it to add the tropical field that we were going for and specify the natural & the sky.

 

Starlight Media:Frankie's Bikinis are becoming very popular in the eastcoast , do you have any comments for your clients in the east ?

Francesca Aiello :Thank You so much for your support about our brand and It's wonderful to see a company grow.

Starlight Media: Do you have any message for aspiring designers that would like start 

their own brand ?

Francesca Aiello: All companies have their up & down but never give-up !
