NEW YORK, NY(SMI-WOMEN-FASHION, 03.04-03.05.22)-Curve, the leading and Bi-Coastal intimate apparel expo in the US, concluded its annual 2022 Curve New York Winter trade show in sensational fashion with a 3-day in-person symposium-where exhibitor brands (US & international) and buyers of the intimate apparel industry were welcomed-back with special Burlesque Show for entertainment, new lectures and panel discussions with industry leaders at the Jacob Javits Center, in the heart of the Big Apple.
Curve New York returns to its main home "The Jacob Javits Center ", since January 2020, when it exhibited its last show & went virtual due to the global pandemic outbreak "Covid-19", that caused the lockdown of NYC, and most major cities across the US.
There were over couple hundreds exhibitors such as Simone Perele, Plie, Empreinte, Elita, Rosa Faia, Obsessive, Nubra, Undress Code, Goddess, Fantasie and new brands like Luelle, Pour Moi, Movelle, amd Apilat that along the major players exhibited the latest trends of the Lingerie and swimwear industry at Curve New York 2022.
In addition to its amazing schedule event program, Curve New York set a new milestone on its annual expo with the inclusion of " The Boudoir ", a fashion burlesque show performed by Award-winning Burlesque performer and actress Pearls Daily, who primped, posed, & modeled the latest lingerie trends from Chantal Thomass, Dita Von Teese, & Undress Code during the 3-day symposium for entertainment that set mood to buyers and exhibitors in welcoming the new season.
During the 3-day trade expo, Alluring Intimate, a division of Starlight Illustrated that covers exclusively the Intimate and swimwear Apparel Industry had the opportunity to interview Lauren Brickman, Sales Manager of Easton international who's company manage and represent 9 luxury women intimates brands and spoke with us for few moments about her brands at 2022 Curve New York Expo and this is what she said:
Alluring: What is your name, Title and Who do you represent (Brands) ?
Lauren Brickman: I'm the sales manager at Easton International and we represent nine different brands.The brands are: Aubade, Berlei, Conturelle, Dita Von Teese, Falke, Gossard, Playfull Promises, Pretty Polly, and Sainted Sisters.We are based in NYC and the brands are mostly Europeans (France, U.K, Germany and Australia).
Alluring: What can you tell us about your brands "
Lauren Brickman: Comfort has been very popular especially with Covi-19, and been home and very sexy has actually been very popular for Us.We specialize mostly in lingerie, some swimwear and some hosiery.
Alluring:How does your brands differ one from the others in prize range and demographic ?
Lauren Brickman: We try to carry brands that don't compete with each other like 'Aubade " is our high-end and Faithful Promises which is in the $30.00 dollars retail and Aubade is $230.00 retail,
we kind are all over the place in prize range.Our brands are kind for everyone, the younger heart and definite for any age.
