NEW YORK, NY (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT JUNE 05-16, 2024)-US-LA based writer and film director "Callie Carpinteri" featured her first independent short film " Dirty Towel" with a World Premiere last week at 2024 Tribeca Festival in the Big Apple.

Carpinteri, known for her strong passion and interest in female's narrative stories that empower women, presented her latest work

a comedy-drama short film " Dirty Towel" where a modern teenage girl struggle with the shame and guilt after having sex for the first time.The film emphasize and explore the double-standard that women still suffer with misogynistic and judgmental label for their actions on modern society from self worth, shame and society expectation.   ​​​​
