NEW YORK (SMI-WIRE,01.10.15) The Columbia Lions had five players in double figures to defeat Central Pennsylvania

112-63 and set a new record of points scored during a non-conference play @ Levien Gymnasium, Columbia University.

The Lion's offensive attack went to work from start by scoring

back to back baskets & leading by 40 points in the first 12 minutes of the first half.Central Pennsylvania tried to create few runs to ovecome the deficit but their offensive line were neutralized most of the game that gave Columbia a comfortable lead & victory snapping a two game losing streak at home.

Columbia were led by five players in double digits with Maodo Lo (Berlin, Germany) scoring 20 points and going 5 out 6 from the three point out rthe arc.Kyle Castlin added 16 points & five rebounds.Also Kendall Jackson contributed with 15 points,Noah Springwater 14 points while Steve Frankoski scored 13 points in the victory.

With the win, Columbia improved to 8-6 overall while Central Penn 8-7 overall.
