NEW YORK, NY (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT JULY 10-14, 2024)-Academy award-winning actress " Natalie Portman" and film director/writer " Alma Har'el " attended last Wed. July 10, the latest PaleyLive program special screening and discussion of their upcoming Apple Tv+'s drama series " Lady in the Lake ", alongside cast Moses Ingram and Byron Bowers at the Paley Museum in New York City.

The lively discussion was moderated by Brittany Jones-Cooper ( Tv Host & Lifestyle Reporter Moderator) & explored what prompted Portman’s first-ever role in a limited series and an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the production with film director Alma Har'el.

The newest Apple Tv+'s drama-thriller series is based on the novel " Lady in the Lake" by US author Laura Lippman-When the mystery disappearance of a young girl grips the city of Baltimore on Thanksgiving 1966, the lives of two women converge on a fatal collision course. Maddie Schwartz played by Natalie Portman-a housewife seeking to change her life for more passionate and meaningful re-invent herself as investigative journalist and Cleo Johnson (Moses Ingram) is a mother navigating the political underbelly of Black Baltimore while struggling to provide for her family.

Schwartz became obsess in discovering the mystery death of Cleo’s mystifying death, a chasm opens that puts everyone around them in danger.  

From visionary director Alma Har’el, Lady in the Lake emerges as a feverish noir thriller and an unexpected tale about the price women pay for their dreams.

The upcoming 7-episode series to premiere its first 2-episode globally on Friday, July 19, 2024 on  Apple Tv+ Network.

Natalie Portman: is an Academy, BAFTA & 2-time Golden Globe award winning Israeli-American actress whose accolades include winning an Academy (Oscars), Golden Globe & BAFTA award as best actress for " Black Swan " in 2011.And also, she won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress with " Closer" in 2005 (62nd Golden Globe).
