NEW YORK, NY (SMI-GLOBAL-PHILANTROPHY-NOV. 19-20, 2024)- The Institute Curie celebrated its annual 2024 Marie Curie Legacy Benefit Gala last evening honoring U.S. Academy-Award Winning Actor, Author and Activist Jane Fonda, with Marie Curie Legacy Medal Honoree under the patronage of Mr. Laurent Bili (Ambassador of France to the United States) and Mr. Cédrik Fouriscot, (Consul General of France in New York) at renowned RainBow Room, Rockefeller Plaza in the heart of New York City.

The benefit gala was Co-chair by Rear Admiral Susan Blumenthal, MD (ret) Ambassador, Institut Curie and Mrs. Virginie Chabran and Mr. Mathieu Chabran. And Co-Hosted by Mr. Daniel Thierry, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Institut Curie and Prof. Alain Puisieux, Chairman of the Executive Board, Institut Curie.

The Marie Curie Legacy Initiative celebrates the Curie Foundation, Institute Curie's innovative research and accomplishments in the fight against cancer and the important friendship Institut Curie has with the US. The Legacy Initiative supports the creation of a Chemical Biology of Cancer Research Center, the next phase in Institut Curie’s fight against cancer.
