NEW YORK, NY(SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT-ARTS-PHILANTHROPY MAY 10-13, 2024)-The 2024-68th annual Viennese Opera Benefit Ball took place last Friday's evening May 10,  under the patronage of The president of the Republic of Austria "H.E. Alexander Van der Bellen" honoring Board member Sabine Riglos and having the opera stars performing as a guests of honor: Leah Crocetto (US  Grammy-award winning Soprano), Lucas Meachem(US Grammy-winning Lyric Baritone), Limmie Pulliam(US Soprano), Christian Pursell(US Opera Bass-Baritone) and Johanna Will (German Opera Singer/Soprano) at the renowned Plaza Hotel in the Big Apple.

The Viennese Opera Ball is an annual white tie benefit gala known for being the most prestigious and Viennese ball outside Vienna, that celebrates the cultural and economic relationships between Austria and America, connecting two continents and two cities in one glamorous night.

The gala attracts government officials from diplomats and dignitaries, business titans and professional from all sectors.Performances by Metropolitan opera singers, a renowned orchestra, ballet performances, the West Point color guard, midnight Quadrille and many more surprises contribute to a glamorous and delightful night.

In addition to cultural and economic relations between the two countries, the The Viennese Opera Ball also supports philanthropy projects that benefit both communities in New York and Vienna.

The 68th Viennese benefit ball was entitled with the theme: "A night Inspired by Aida " and honored board member Sabine Riglos with all the charitable proceeds collected were to benefit the Music therapy program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with support from Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research.
