NEW YORK, NY (SMI-GLOBAL-FASHION 09.14-Nov. 06, 2023)-The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced its 2023 nominees in four categories, and six honorees for this year's 2023 CFDA Fashion Awards presented by Amazon Fashion with renowned US actress & producer Sarah Jessica Parker will serve as a host for the awards ceremony that will take place on November 06, at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

The CFDA is a not-for-profit trade association whose membership consists of 474 of America’s foremost womenswear, menswear, jewelry and accessory designers. 

The 2023 CFDA Nominees for Women's designer of the year are:
Joseph Altuzarra for Altuzarra, 
Christopher John Rogers, 
Catherine Holstein for Khaite, 
Raul Lopez for LUAR,
Tory Burch.

The 2023 CFDA American Menswear Designer Nominees of the Year are:
Mike Amiri for AMIRI,
Willy Chavarria,
Colm Dillane for KidSuper,
Teddy von Ranson for TEDDY VONRANSON,
Thom Brownefor Thom Browne New York.

2023 CFDA American Accessory Designer Nominees of the Year are:
Ana Khouri, 
Brandon Blackwood, 
Stuart Vevers for Coach, 
Raul Lopez for LUAR,
Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row.

2023 CFDA Nominees for Shop with Google American Emerging Designer of the Year are:
Bach Mai, 
Connor McKnight,
Rachel Scott for Diotima, 
Tanner Richie and Fletcher Kasell for Tanner Fletcher,
Carly Mark for Puppets And Puppets.

The 2023 CFDA Honorees Are:

The Board of Directors Tribute will go to Vera Wang in recognition of her impact on the bridal category

The Founder’s Award in honor of Eleanor Lambert goes to Domenico De Sole.

Maria Cornejo will be honor with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Media Award in honor of Eugenia Sheppard goes to Alina Cho. 

The Environmental Sustainability Award will be presented to Mara Hoffman.

The International Designer of the Year is Jonathan Anderson for J.W. Anderson and Loewe.

Amazon Fashion is the Presenting Partner for the CFDA Fashion Awards. The Awards ceremony and gala dinner will be held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on November 6th, 2023.
