NEW YORK, NY(SMI-PHILANTHROPY-FASHION, MAY 18-19,2022)-The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation celebrated its 9th annual Collaborating for a Cure Ladies luncheon fashion show Today Wednesday May 18, in benefit  of SWCRF and honoring Dr. Andrew Jacono MD, for his support  of SWCRF at the AVRA restaurant in Manhattan, NYC.

Funds raised from the Ladies Lunch will be invested towards collaborative, cross-institutional cancer research programs. Since 1976, SWCRF has allocated more than $100 million to 200+ researchers around the world.

Kobi Halperin who is a fashion designer from Israel, presented a Summer  collection on remembrance of the late renowned French designer Emanuel Ungaro, exhibitng over 20+ vibrant looks at the benefit and live auction event.

In addition to this year annual Fashion Show luncheon benefit,  Dr. Andrew Jacono MD, was honored for his support  the SWCRF, philanthropy and passion for scientific advancement.

The Collaborating for a Cure Ladies Luncheon was first introduced in 2014 and all the funds raised from the this annual benefit was invested towards collaborative, cross-institutional cancer research programs.

Over the years, renowned fashion designers from Nicole Miller, Oscar de la Renta, St. John, Carolina Herrera, Derek Lam, and Dennis Basso have presented their collections at this annual benefit event in support of cancer research.
