NEW YORK,NY(SMI-PHILANTHROPY, 01.24.20)-The Hudson River Park Friends Committe commemorated its fifth annual fundraising luncheon today-honoring celebrity, socialite and businesswoman "Nicky Hilton-Rothschild"; Rachel Blumenthal (CEO of Rockets of Awesome); and Stephanie Hochman( Sr. VP CITI) at the Pier 59 Chelsea Piers, in Manhattan.

The Hudson River Parks Friends Palyground Committee is a group of accomplished parents who work to gather support from local community for play areas from sports fields, free public events,  environmental and educational programs. Founded in 2012, the Playground Committe has raised over 5.5 Million for the park.The Committee is currently raising funds to develop its fifth play area, a new one-of-a-kind 4,000 square foot Pier 26 Marine science.

This year luncheon was hosted by comedienne and best-selling author; Jenny Mollen and numerous attended included celebrities, media personalities and businesswomen.
