NEW YORK,NY(SMI-FASHION, 09.14.19)-The renowned and acclaimed celebrity American fashion designer from New York, " Dennis Basso ", astonishes New York Fashion Week 2020 Spring-Summer season with his latest collection of glamour, elegance and femenine designs, during an invitation only runway show in the Big Apple.

Mr. Basso, known for his collections being inspired by pure glamour-from fur and evening wear to bridal and accessories for the past 3-decades, has gained prominence within the close circles of socialites and celebrities worldwide.

He is an innovator and who has set new standards of designing with fur... treating fur like a fluid fabric; lighter, with more sinuous silhouettes, and bolder in coloration and patterns.

With his liveliness signature and attention to glamorous styling, the diverse day and evening designs were a perfect addition with the furs to dress any women of any generation.

Dennis Basso is one of the few fashion designers that attract major media during Fashion Week,  and the demmand is so high that only few get to get invited, since his fashion runway shows are usually attended by NY tastemakers, socialites and Hollywood celebrities.

The 2020 Spring-Summer collection by Dennis Basso was inspired by classic beauties of the past and recreates their styles for the modern, distintive women of today. From the trend-setting style of Jayne Wrightsman and her Swan-like friends, to the creatives style of today's modern artist Ashley Longshore (Who was the final look for this show), to dressing the newest 2019 US OPen Women's single champion and Tennis Supper-star " Bianca Andreescu " , for all her post-win appearances —It is about individualism and uniqueness. The Dennis Basso's girl is all about staying true to herself and loves exploring fashion. She is a woman of all sizes, styles and ages.

This season collection(2020 Spring-Summer ), Included sporty day wear, cocktail and eveningwear in a color palette of China Blue and White, Cafe Creme, and classic black and white. Fabrics range from Denim and cotton canvas to silk gazaar, satins, Jaquards, and Lace. Furs highlight sheared mink, broadtail and shearling. Details include hand-embellished flowers, breaded embroidery, three dimensional flowers, and feathers. Classic silhouettes inlude form-fitting gowns and strapless bedices with ball goewn skirts.

In 2013, Dennis Basso was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in recognition of his talent, vision, and business acumen.
